After competing for England’s 13/14/15 Age Group over the last year in Croatia at the Primroje Cup and in Italy at the Mediterranean Cup Stockport Metro’s Sophie Freeman was asked to attend trials for the England Junior Squad the weekend of 19th & 20th September 2015.
In preparation for the trials Sophie had to learn the England Free and Technical Team Routines and also worked hard on her 400m timed swim, her hypoxic test and her figures.
Sophie has now had confirmation that she has been selected for the England Talent Synchronised Swimnming Junior Squad of 2016! Her training will include travelling down to Aldershot and Surrey Sports Park to practice at weekends with the rest of the England Team as well as training throughout the week with Stockport Metro in synchro, swimming and land work.
All of the wolfpack are very proud of Sophie’s commitment, motivation and her achievements!
