After a lot of hard work, commitment and determination Sophie placed 7th in 13/14 figures at National Age Groups and was selected to be part of the first phase of the England Talent Squad trials at the National Sports Centre, Crystal Palace this weekend.
After completing speed, technical, land and routine?tests Sophie?was selected for the England Talent Age Group Squad.? Sophie will develop her technical, physical and routine skills whilst training with the Squad and Stockport Metro?in preparation for competitions next year.
Sophie has always shown great promise as a synchronised swimmer and gives 100% commitment to every session.? Sophie only started training with us in 2012 and completed 4 skill grades in just one year!? This year with her sights set on getting into the squad Sophie upped her training to 20 hours a week doing a mixture of swimming training with Stuart, land training with Lucas, flex with Adelle?and synchro specific training.? All the hard work definitely paid off!? Well done Sophie!
